Instagram contest rules
Last updated October 26, 2026
No purchase or payment of any kind is needed to enter or win. This is a contest judged on merit, not a drawing: luck plays no part. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or run by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. By entering you release Instagram and Meta from any responsibility for it.
1. Who runs it
Michael Delgado, Crewd Space, In den Schafgärten 2, 60437 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (“Crewd”). Questions: [email protected].
2. Who can enter
You can enter if you’re 21 or older, live in the United States (the 50 states and DC), and are on the list for a Crewd city that isn’t open yet, with a Crewd account or a waitlist entry. Not open to Crewd’s owner or the owner’s family. Void where prohibited.
3. How to enter
- Follow @crewdspace. We check when we pick winners.
- Post on Instagram (a post, a Reel or a Story) about Crewd that tags @crewdspace, has #CrewdContest in the caption, and names your city in the caption or tags a location in it. The hashtag says your post is a contest entry, which the law asks for. Your account has to be public.
- Keep the post up and public until we announce your city’s winners.
- Enter from one Instagram account only.
- Your city’s contest runs from when you join its list until the moment the city opens (to its founding members, if it has any). Posts after that don’t count for that city.
- Want the guys you bring to count? Put your invite link (it’s on your Crewd page while your city is on the list) in your bio or on a Story link sticker while the contest runs, so we can see whose link it is.
- Post as often as you like; one prize per person.
- Stories disappear after 24 hours, but a Story that tags us reaches our inbox, so we see it.
4. What you can post
- It has to be yours: your photos, video and words, and music you’re allowed to use.
- Real photos and video of real people. No AI-generated or AI-altered people, images, video or voices. Filters, normal edits and captions written however you like are fine. Whether something is AI is our call.
- Don’t show anyone’s home address or license plate.
- Everyone you show agreed to be in it and is 21 or older.
- House rule number one applies: don’t be an asshole. No nudity, hate, harassment, threats, anything illegal or dangerous, and nothing that breaks Instagram’s rules or the Crewd Terms. Don’t tag people who aren’t in it.
- Boosting your post with Instagram’s own ads is fine. Bought likes, followers, views or signups, and fake or extra accounts, are not.
- We can disqualify a post that breaks these rules, or one that games the contest.
5. How winners are picked
Within 14 days after a city opens, Crewd judges that city’s entries on:
- Creativity and humor: 40%
- How well it shows what Crewd is, guys doing stuff together: 30%
- How many guys joined the list through the invite link you put in your bio or on a Story: 30%
The 5 entries with the highest scores win. Crewd’s decisions are final. With fewer than 5 entries that follow these rules, there are fewer winners.
6. Prizes
Each winner gets 6 months of Crewd Pro, starting when we confirm his account (retail value $54). It can’t be traded for cash, moved to someone else or swapped, and it follows the Pro section of the Terms. Up to 5 prizes per city. Any taxes are the winner’s.
7. How winners hear
We message winners on Instagram from @crewdspace. Answer within 7 days with the email on your Crewd account and the prize is yours. No answer, or not eligible, and the next-best entry wins instead. We never ask for a password, a card or a payment. Anyone who does isn’t us. For the list of winners, email [email protected] within 60 days after a city opens.
8. Using your post
By entering you let Crewd repost and share your entry, with credit to your account, on Crewd’s own pages and social accounts for 2 years, without paying you. You keep owning it. Want one taken down from our accounts? Email [email protected].
9. The rest
By entering you agree to these rules. Crewd may change, pause or end the contest if fraud, a technical problem or anything else beyond our control gets in the way of a fair one. What we see of your entry is your public Instagram content, and we handle it under the Privacy Policy. Disputes go the way section 14 of the Terms says.
